Building Campaign

January 27, 2013

Dear  friends,
We just came back from Chantal and Canon, Haiti with a team of 44 doctors, dentists, pharmacysts, hygenists and other volunteers for another successful medical-dental mission. Thanks again for your support, prayers and help! Last hurricanes, Isaac and Sandy, have caused great damages in the foundation of the dispensary. The building is not safe now and must be demolished very soon. The nuns have worked with an architect to develop a new floor plan that you can see by clicking on to these links:
What they are trying to do is build a new equipped clinic that can give basic care to the people of Chantal and its surrounding villages. As you know, in the rainy season, Chantal is completely isolated by the rivers. There is no way to reach to Les Cayes in case of an emergency. Please help us continue to save lifes in Chantal. Help the nuns accomplish this precious dream for the poor in Chantal. There are many ways to help. You can ask your friends, family members, co-workers or Church to help. All donations will be tax deductible is Checks are made to: Sacred Heart Church with notation “Haiti Mission”  in the memo field and mailed to me at:
Rev. Yves Francois
Sacred Heart Catholic Church
901 SW 6th Street
Okeechobee, FLorida 34974.
Please note that the new clinic will be built in phases. In phase one, we will build the foundation and the first floor. The cost of the whole project is $495,000.00. The cost of the first phase is $270,000.00 USD. Once the first floor is built, we will continue with the second and third flloor.
Thanks for all the help you have already given to the people of Chantal and for your effort to help them get this new clinic. May God bless you!
Rev. Yves Francois
